Methven Lions has launched the Property Brokers Big Day at the Office Race 2013. The race is made up of 4 separate events, a five stage multisport race, a duathlon race, a mountain run through the Mt Somers alpine walkway and a marathon around Mt Somers.

Methven Scarecrow Trail organisers are delighted with the record number of participants. There were some tricky scarecrows for people to guess but 49 entries did manage to get all 33 characters correct and over 40% of the entry forms were returned.
