Methven Travel Rentals has a selection of vehicles to suit your needs, from 4 door saloon cars to station wagons, to Camper vans. We offer competitive rates and the best possible service & support. Current, non-provisional licence written in English and a bond is required.

BUDGET CARS

Daily rate $45.00 per day including hire, insurance* & 100 km per day
3 to 5 days $45.00 per day including hire, insurance* & 150 km per day
6 plus days $55.00 per day including hire, insurance* & unlimited kms

STATION WAGONS

Daily rate $50.00 per day including hire, insurance* & 100 km per day
3 to 5 days $50.00 per day including hire, insurance* & 150 km per day
6 plus days $65.00 per day including hire, insurance* & unlimited kms

* = Excess applies

Supplementary costs for ski-area access road use, distance in excess of daily allowance and one-way Methven to Christchurch hires apply.

Please note: fuel is an additional cost to all our rental rates.

Snow chains and ski racks are provided free of charge.

CAMPER VANS

Daily Rate $130.00 per day
Additional costs: Fuel, gas for cooking and diesel road tax

Methven Travel also provides regular shuttle transport services from central Christchurch and Christchurch Airport to Methven and return, Non-scheduled special departures, one day tour options in the mid-Canterbury high country, charters, and Mt Hutt Ski Area transport (Mt Hutt Ski Bus).
